Manually update the shipping address

We have a customer we regularly invoice for goods, but the shipping address changes, how can I manually update the shipping address?  If I go into the invoice and change it, when I click save it automatically changes back to the address the customer is set-up with?  It used to work in QB's Desktop, can it also work in QB's online?

I was able to manually change the customer's shipping address here on my end, Eleanor Day. 

 

It's possible that your browser stored too much cache files that QuickBooks showed an odd behavior. We can use a private browser to manually change the shipping address since it doesn't store any cache files. 

 

If it works, we can go back to your regular browser to remove piled-up cache files. This way, QuickBooks can work as expected. We can also use other supported browsers to get rid of the unusual behavior. 

 

If it persists, I recommend reaching out to our Customer Support Team. They'll further investigate the issue. To reach them:

  1. Click the Help ( ? ) icon.
  2. Select Contact us.
  3. Enter your concern that you can't manually update customer shipping address.
