Meetings working from home

All our employees work from home, but some must hold in-person meetings with clients/potential clients and staff.  We do not hire meeting rooms (none in the area) but chose to meet in an eatery of some description.

It's a legitimate part of the business operations, and it is neither appropriate nor professional to hold a meeting in the house with my underwear draped over the clothes horse!  Is the expense allowable, and is it tax deductible?

Hi JD01234, thanks for your post - while we agree that wouldn't be professional, we unfortunately don't have guidance on this here. Please check with your accountant or tax advisor to be sure. 🙂
