Welcome aboard to the Online Community, carl6.

Thanks for being part of the QuickBooks family. You'll have to perform the basic troubleshooting steps for banking to resolve this issue.

You can start by accessing the company in a private window or incognito mode. This can help keep your browsing private from other users and will erase the search history, as well as any tracking cookies.

Here are the shortcut keys for each browser:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If you’re unable to update the account via these sessions, use a different browser. However, if the issue persists, edit the bank account sign-in information.

To update:

  1. Go to the Banking menu first located on the left panel, then choose Banking.
  2. On the Bank and Credit Cards page, choose the correct account.
  3. Click on the Update tab in the upper right hand corner.
  4. Tap the Pencil icon next to the bank name.
  5. Choose Edit sign-in info and enter your updated bank website username or user ID and password.
  6. Click on Save and connect. QBO will try to connect with your bank to verify the information.
  7. After confirming the information, choose I'm done, Let's go!

Once done, go back to the Banking page and update the account.

That should do the trick. Let me know if you run into any hurdles while following these steps. I’ll be right here to assist further.
