Need help in setting up MTD. I have an accountants account but want to file from my company/business account. How do I do it?

If you are using the 'Your Books' section of your QuickBooks Accountant account you can turn on MTD for your company by going to the Gear icon > You company > Advanced > Making Tax Digital for your firm books and selecting learn how to connect.

If you are using a separate QuickBooks company for your business you would need to access the company as a business user (with Master Admin or Company Admin status) NOT as an accountant user and turn on MTD by going to the Taxes page and clicking 'Go for it'.

In both scenarios you will need to register your company for Making Tax Digital with HMRC before connecting in QuickBooks :)
