Overnight accommodation and subsistence for business

Can we just confirm are you using the Self Employed product?If so are you wanting to show these as allowable or disallowable expenses? We can not tell you which category to use as we are not trained accountants  however if you look at the SA103F categories list here  and then look at box 24 (advertsing and entertainment costs) that could  be a category you could use.It just depends on whether you want to hit that box if not one of the other categories may be better.

You can speak to HMRC if you want some confirmation on this
