Payroll item class tracking

I use QB desktop: class tracking for payroll items.  Recently, payroll liabilities have begun to appear in a different expense account than the gross pay on the P&L report.  Has something changed?

Nothing has changed, we would be grateful if you can attempt a rebuild.

File > Utilities > Rebuild data

You may need to delete and re run the effected payrolls.

A rebuild will create a backup for you will have a restore point in case it the rebuild doesn't resolve the issue. If a rebuild doesn't resolve the issue we recommend that you contact the telephone support line.
