Hi,
I did as you suggested, however, after deleting and reissuing our payslips 3 times I still have the following message:
Tax code update errorsx
- Tax code updates could not be applied due to an error: The token is missing or is of the wrong data type.
I have to finish now, so I am going to have to send it to HMRC as I am already late due to only now receiving our furlough pay.
Appreciate your help.
Nikki
Allow me to join you on this thread and provide you some information about the error that you're getting, NAW.
After our developers thoroughly worked on this, they have found out that this is an intermittent HMRC issue. The servers may not be scaled enough to handle so many requests that's why this error occurs. Usually, this will resolve itself by re-running the payroll at a different time. In the meantime, let's try performing some troubleshooting steps to help you fix the error. You can log into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account in a private window. Here are the keyboard shortcuts.
- Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
- Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
- Control + Option + P (Safari).
Once signed in, you can double-check if you're still getting the error. If not, go back to your default browser and clear the cache to speed up the loading process. There are times the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues.
However, if you're still getting the error, I recommend reaching out to our support team to investigate the issue. They can provide you other ways on how you can send the information to HMRC.
