price level lists showing inactive items

We run QB Premier Edition 2020 desktop (R8) and are working with several price level lists. Unfortunately each list is showing ALL items instead of just the active ones, so when we need to change prices it's a nightmare as we have so many inactive items. 

How can I get it to show just the active items? I've tried creating a new list, but that is still showing the inactive  items as well. Deleting inactive items is no option as we still need these for historic reports etc.

Welcome to the Community page, 

 

So it is not possible to do this, when you create a price level it will show all items whether they are inactive or active. There is no filter option for it either. I suggest you raise it up in the product as feedback. This gets sent straight to our developers.
