When printing Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss in QBO there is no provision to exclude accounts with 0.00 balances. Hmm Reports are extended with useless content.

Hello, Bruce.

I can see how the benefit of being able to exclude zero (0.00) balance accounts when running and printing Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss reports would aid you in managing your financial data with QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let's send feedback or product recommendations to help improve the features and your experience using the platform.

Since the report customisation you want is currently unavailable, I would encourage you to send suggestions or product recommendations. We'll take them as opportunities to improve the various features of our products. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Type in your recommendation in the Share your feedback field.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

On top of that, you may want to memorise your financial reports to save your (current) customisation settings for future use. If you wish to know more about this feature and how to do this in QBO, you can check out this article: Memorise reports in QuickBooks Online.

Please feel free to leave a comment below if you have other feature concerns or questions about managing accounts and transactions in QBO. I'm always ready to help. Take care, Bruce.
