PRODUCTS AND SERVICES -BULK IMPORT

We regularly import multiple products into Products & Services by csv.  However, it does not import CATEGORY into QBO which is a big issue for us as we have 1000s of products under multiple categories. 

Has anyone got a workaround for this.  I have been sending feedback since Jan 2023 and I see from other posts this is an issue since 2020 and maybe before.

 Hello Mcooney, thanks for posting on the Community page, we appreciate what you are saying and have left it back as feedback, we have passed this on as well to the team. It goes on demand so if there is lots of customers asking it about it may be a feature that comes out in the future.

I just found out... By preceeding the Product / Service name (in the import file) with the CATEGORY name followed by a colon, this successfully imports the category into Quickbooks Online!  Tried and tested today.

Yes but the CATEGORY field is not an option for importing.
