Projects - transferring existing data into a project

Hi all,

 

Is there a way to add an existing invoice that has been paid, to a project so that the income links?  I have two projects that I did not create the first invoice within them and would like to track the payment

Hello there, @thegreenbuild.

 

You can rename the existing invoice to add to your project in QuickBooks. Let me guide you how.

 

  1. Go to the Projects.
  2. Click Add to project on the upper right, select Invoice.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow in the customer field.
  4. Look for the name of the project and select it. It should be right under the customer's name. 
  5. Click Save and Close.
