Purchase orders, Sales Orders Delivery note and Invoices Ref numbering

Hello back Intuit Community. Am having a scenario that after i reinstalled quick books 14 Enterprise that i have to keep putting Purchase orders, Sales Orders Delivery note and Invoices Ref numbers manually every time. Is there a way i will set the automatic numbering back to make tracking easier?

I'm here to help with your numbering system. 

 

QuickBooks Desktop has an automatic numbering system. The transaction numbers are based on your previous transaction and will follow consecutively.

 

Also, the QuickBooks Enterprise 14 is one of those versions that are no longer supported. This is may be the reason why you're experiencing this error. We can repair it to fix this behavior. Make sure to create a back up file first. Then, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open your Control Panel. 
  2. Select Programs and Features, then Uninstall a Program.
  3. Click QuickBooks. Select Uninstall/Change.
  4. Hit Continue. Click Repair, then Next.
  5. Once it's done, select Finish.

Once done, let's create new transactions to see if it works.
