They always claim they will be able to deactivate ALL versions of QB Desktop UK after June 2023. Frankly I still don't believe if there is an ability to deactivate all licenses unless you need to reinstall them. As a precaution, you should immediately convert your data to QB Online or another accounting application. Then you can decide what to do after June 2023.

We've made the decision to discontinue QuickBooks Desktop for our UK customers and support will end on the 30 June 2023. We recommend migrating your data at the earliest opportunity prior to this date as access will be removed. We've partnered with Movemybooks, a leading data conversion tool for accounting software, to offer customers switching to QuickBooks Online two-years free data transfer (additional years can be purchased if required). Alternatively, if you don't want to migrate, you can begin using QuickBooks Online today by entering opening balances - we recommend working alongside your accountant to do this if you're unsure how. We've also released a data export tool that can be used to continue accessing your Desktop company data for up to sever years post-discontinuation. We hope that this gives you ample time to prepare for the changes ahead.
