Quick books are defaulting to an existing invoice number

Hi, I have shut quick books down, I have re-started the PC and logged in twice. I go to create an invoice in sales and QB gives me an invoice number that has already been used. No settings have been changed and it worked fine until 2 hours ago.

Help!

Hello Graham, does the same thing still happen after clearing your cache and cookies to all time, close the browser down, reload it, and log back in or does that resolve it for you
