Quickbooks API Timeout

More and more frequently over the past few weeks, making requests to the Quickbooks API times out.

 

Error:

[Operation timed out after 25001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received]

 

We have to wait usually around an hour before it starts to work again. It amazes me that a company as large as QB has such a dreadful, unreliable API. Our entire company depends on QB and we literally cannot run our company when the API times out. Any suggestions, other than just wait?

Welcome to the Community page, 

 

What particular point/ what you are doing when it times out exactly?  

 

It could be the network you are using, your device ect. There is a setting in Quckbooks online, int he advanced section to check if make sure that you have it set to 3 hours, however that is usually if you havent been doing anything but still worth checking that it is set to 3 hours. 

 

Main cog wheel> account and settings> advanced>  other preferences> sign me out if inactive for > select 3 hours > save>done
