Quickbooks Desktop 2019 will not update.

Hi,  I have been trying to update Quickbooks Desktop 2019 but it will not update, it keeps trying to but Error 12007 occurs on File Doctor, I have not updated since R10 release.   I have turned off my Firewall and tried but that did not help, and also I have checked my Windows Explorer and that is all set ok. 

Can anyone help to solve the matter, many thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Community page, 

 

 

Can you go to this link https://downloads.quickbooks.com/app/qbdt/products after clicking the country, product and version (UK, Pro/Premier,2019) you should get a page that says downloads & updates, and below here's your product. Then you need to download the patch manually, close QuickBooks and then run the patch to update 2019 to release 10 and that should work and resolve your issue for you.

Hi I have tried this but it will not update to latest release of R12 which was in December 2020.  I have got release R10 but each time I do automatic update File Doctor states ERROR 12007.
