Quickbooks Desktop to Quickbooks Online - Won't let me update so I can export file to QB Online

I am trying to migrate from Quickbooks desktop to Quickbooks online and it says I need to update to the latest version which is fine but when I try to do this, I am met with a Error 12007 on the file doctor.

I have looked through other peoples questions and all I have seen are check if your internet is connected and to check if there is a firewall stopping the connection. I have done all these things and it is still not working.

I don't know what to do but I need to start on Quickbooks online ASAP seen as the desktop version will soon be discontinued.

Can someone please help.

You must use MMB service to convert your data with some limitations.

If you need to convert data with requirements (e.g multicurrency, attachments, jobs, estimate), you can purchase a 3rd party conversion service.

Hi. Thanks for the reply.

I am aware that I will need to use Move my Books but in order to export the company file, I need to update to the latest version which I already am. I asked our IT department to update and they said they have but I still get error 12007 which is something to do with the file doctor which is stopping it update.

Thank you for the update, RMFZE.

I understand that you've gone through the troubleshooting steps to resolve error 12007. However, it would be best if one of our agents can take a closer look at your setup to get to the bottom of the issue. Just call the phone number or click begin a chat in Georgia's answer above.

You can also check about exporting data from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online for your additional reference.
