Quickbooks is saying I have money in a PayPal account but I don't and I don't have a PayPal account linked

I fully understand your concern regarding QuickBooks indicating that you have money in a PayPal account, even though you haven't linked any PayPal account to QuickBooks Online. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused you. To resolve this issue, let's investigate it by contacting our customer support team. Since the Community is a public platform and we cannot check your account here, you can reach out to our support team. They have the necessary tools to access your account and investigate the issue.
 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Help (?) icon at the top.
  2. On the Assistant tab, click Talk to a human.
  3. Enter your concern in the Type Something field, then click the Send icon.
  4. Click on I still need a human.
  5. Select Get help from a human.
  6. Choose a way to connect with us.
