Quickbooks online not updating or saving

I am fairly new to quickbooks so forgive me if I'm doing something wrong. I usually use the mobile app and have had no issues but I also use Quickbooks online. I seem to be having problems with quickbooks online though, several times I have attached receipts to expenses but they dont appear when I log back in. Also it doesnt seem to update the work I'm doing when I go back on to using my mobile app. Is it better to just keep to the mobile app ? Thanks

I did try to replicate your scenario in my QuickBooks and was able to keep the attached receipts when logging back in. These attached documents are also showing when I open my account through the mobile app. 


There’s a possibility that your browser is causing the issue. This is because it keeps files in its cache and saves the pages you have previously visited. Sometimes the stored files can affect communication between the browser and QuickBooks Online. 


You can follow the shortcut key command below to start private browsing:


    a. For Chrome. press Ctrl + Shift + N.
    b. For Internet Explorer or Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P. 
    c. For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.


If everything is working in the private window, we would recommend clearing your browser’s cache or use a different one.
