QuickBooks Pro 2010 and Making Tax Digital

Is quickbooks pro 2010 compatible with "Making Tax Digital"?  Theer seems to be an option to transmit to HMRC, but you cant transmit until you are registered, and I dont want to register until I know I am able to transmit.  Can anyone help?

Welcome to the community!

You are right, there is an option to submit VAT returns to HMRC via QuickBooks pro 2010, however this is for the old Gateway and if used now will not submit correctly.

The only version of QuickBooks Desktop which connects correctly to the HMRC making tax digital gateway is QuickBooks 2019 which is available on a subscription basis via our desktop sales team (0808 168 9533) or to buy online via our desktop sales partner Axonware at the following link. https://quickbooks.intuit.com/uk/desktop/
