quickbooks self employed emails not being sent/received

quickbooks not sending my invoices after I click send, I cc myself in to confirm they've gone and I don't receive them. really annoying. Safari 13.1.2 Mac OS 10.15.6

With regard to the issue reported where your clients can't received the invoices you sent, this can happen if the receiver uses a hosted mail service or has strong spam filters or uses email filtering. Invoices sent from Quickbooks Self Employed are sent using the following address. connect@e.connect.intuit.com.

 

It is advisable ask the receiver to check their spam or trash folder and/or address: connect@e.connect.intuit.com. to their safe sender list. Failing which you can also send the invoice as a PDF by exporting it from the product and sending it via your email directly to your customer.

 

- Check if customer has special characters in the Name Field of the invoice work info (such as @, _, etc.), then the invoicing system will likely reject it and not send the invoice. For example, xxxxx@gmail.com shows as the Name field for invoices, which seems to fail the sending of the invoice.
