I appreciate sharing with us the steps you’ve performed to link the Gmail address to QBO. Let me share some information about associating your email address to send invoice reminders.

As mentioned by my colleague, linking your Gmail only applies to invoices. Alternatively, manually key in the email information in any of the Cc or Bcc fields. This way, you’ll be able to associate it to send overdue invoices.

For newly created transactions, configure QuickBooks Online to automatically show your Gmail address in the Cc or Bcc fields. This is to ensure all reminders are linked to the mentioned email.

Here's how:

1. Tap the Gear icon at the top to choose Account and Settings under Your Company.
2. Hit the Sales menu on the left panel to access the Messages section.
3. Then, click on the Pencil icon to mark the box for Email me a copy at.
4. Next, enter your email address in the Copy (Cc) new invoices to address fields.
5. If you want to get a blind copy, type in the same information used in the Cc field into the Blind Copy (Bcc) new invoices to address field.
6. Click the Sales form drop-down to choose Invoice.
7. Press Save and Done.
