Sales estimates automatic closure

Hi

 

Is there a way we can automatically close sales estimates after a set expiry date?

 

We currently have lots of open estimates that are now out of date and it would help if they closed automatically when they expire rather than us having to go through periodically and close them manually.

Hi tracey2972, thanks for posting on the Community.

 

There's currently no way to automate this process in QuickBooks Online. We agree it would be a great feature to have, and recommend leaving feedback for this via the Cog > Feedback in your account. 

 

In the meantime, you can narrow-down expired estimates from your customers page by setting the drop-downs to Type: Estimates, Status: Overdue, Date: All to batch select and delete. Or, if you'd prefer to keep the record on the account, select the drop-down in the action column beside each > update status.
