sample company changed from UK to US

I have been practicing for the core training using the sample company under Settings in my account. Today the sample company changed to a US one, with different tax system, etc. I tried accessing my quickbooks account using chrome incognito, same problem. This is very strange. Any help welcome. Thanks

I'll help you continue practicing using a UK sample company, @LauraaS.

 

Do you have multiple companies under the same QuickBooks Online account? Make sure to select the correct company from your list. To switch between companies, go to the Gear icon and select Switch company. 

 

If you need to create a new sample UK-based company, follow these steps below:

  1. Go to the QuickBooks pricing page and toggle to Free trial.
  2. Select the subscription you want by clicking Try FREE for 1 month.
  3. You can also try a free payroll for 1 month. Otherwise, click No thanks, I don't need payroll.
  4. Enter the same email address or user ID you use for QuickBooks.
  5. You'll see a message that the user ID is already taken. Click the Sign in link.
  6. Click Continue to Trial.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions.
