Searching invoices on app.

Since the last update it is no longer possible to search previous invoices.  The loading spinning icon appears and doesnt stop spinning, the app eventually crashes.

I've got some troubleshooting steps to help you search previous invoices on your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) app, Stevestraffon.

 

It's possible the app's version is outdated or the stored app data is full. To better isolate the issue, let's update the app to ensure we have the latest features and fixes. If you're using Android, refer to the steps below: 

 

  1. Open the Play Store.
  2. Tap the Menu ⋮ icon.
  3. Select My apps & games.
  4. Hit Installed.
  5. Swipe down to find QBSE.
  6. Tap Updated. When it says Open, it means your app is up-to-date.

 

For iOS, perform the steps below: 

 

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Tap Today at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
  4. Scroll down to see pending updates and release notes.
  5. Tap Update next to the QBSE app.

 

Second, let's reset the app data to clear its cache. When the app's storage data is almost at its limit, it causes odd behavior where the features, data, and some icons disappear. To resolve this, we can delete the cache from your application to use it again with a clean slate and all of its capabilities at your convenience. For iOS users, here's how:

 

  1. Click the menu at the top right corner of your device.
  2. Next, choose Help & Feedback.
  3. Select Refresh Data.
  4. Press Refresh.

 

For Android:

 

  1. Go to the More Options icon 
  2. Next, choose Settings. 
  3. Select Refresh Data.
  4. Press Yes.

 

Once done, close and reopen the app and search for the previous invoices. If the issue persists, I'd suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app. It helps boost its performance so it'll function efficiently. In addition, let me share this article on how to manage invoices. Many thanks for your suggestions.  Ive tried them, including deleting and reinstalling the whole app.  Unfortunately it is still not possible to view searched invoices.  Again, this is only since the latest app update happened.  
How can this issue be elevated in order to resolve it.
