Hello Josie1,

Welcome to the Community page,

It is not a QBSE feature, it won't predict the amount. It is not one of the boxes QBSE covers. You have to manually add the amount you calculate on  the form for student loan. It is section 4 on the  SA form at HMRC website . Section 4 — ‘Fill in your return’

Put the total of the amounts already deducted through your employment for the tax year you’re completing your return for. You can find these amounts on your P60 or by adding up all the student loan. Here is the link that tells you more about it.

as self employed I don't have P60, I wonder why would quick books cover include this - I can easily find tools online ti make this calculation - will quick books look at integrating this? I can't be the only self employed person - who relies on knowing this payment will be coming up?

Hello there, @Josie11_2.

I'm here to share information about using P60 in QuickBooks.

As mentioned by one of my colleagues, Ashleigh1, you can use P60 in QuickBooks Online.

For now, you can give our software engineers direct input. They might take this into account and include it in product improvements.

Here's how:

1. In your QuickBooks Online account, go to the Gear icon.

2. Select Feedback.

3. Type in your suggestion and click Next.
