My CEO in Austrlalia thinks QuickBooks Desktop KV should have SEPA or XML payment files tha can be sent or uploaded to your bank to process payments to vendors. He knows that the Quickbooks online Australian version offers this and he thinks theUK version must have it to, I know that the Quickbooks US desktop version doesn't have this and I have not seen this feature in the UK version either. Is there any way to create a supplier payment file to be uploaded to a bank? Thanks!

Hello Anne0322,

Adding a feature for SEPA or XML payment files in QuickBooks Desktop (UK) would be great for your business. For now, we can only send the supplier payments within the program.

When paying bills within the program you'll have an Online Bank Pmt option under Method. You can use the screenshot below for reference.

Meanwhile, you can select the Pay Online box when writing cheques.

I'd also recommend sending feedback to the available article:

  1. Open this link: Pay bills in QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Make sure you're logged in to your Community account.
  3. Scroll-down to the Was this helpful? section and select No.
  4. Enter the details of your suggestion and click Submit.

We appreciate you for sharing your ideas so we can improve the product. We'll want to hear more from you in the future. Have a great day!
