Setting up a client, but not got the option to add HMRC log in details for VAT. Client has access to do this but a system error comes up so he can't enter the details...?

If the client is doing their own vat submissions to get it all connected if they go to the cog wheel>account and settings> advanced > they can turn mtd on in there> it will ask them to put their credentials in for there gateway from hmrc this will get them all connected to they can do their vat. 

if the accountant is doing it then they will have to had the client to their asa account and make sure that it is turned on, which is in cog wheel>company settings>advanced and again turn it on there and it will ask for the asa credentials to get it all connect follow the steps and it will ask to select the client and then will connect it all to then be able to submit the vat.
