Question

Since the upgrade to IOS 15 the mileage isn’t tracking automatically. I have to keep turning it on and off so how do I fix this?

I'm happy to lend a hand with tracking your mileage, @Rhys Mallett.

Let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps to clear the app's cache. Like web browsers, the QuickBooks Online mobile app collects cache to save time when loading repetitive data and images. Over time the files can become outdated and corrupted, causing issues like mileage tracking not working properly.

Here's how:

1. Click the Help menu in the top-most part of the app.

2. Select Reset App Data.

Once you've cleared the data, log back in and check your mileage tracking.

To get familiar with the Mileage tracking feature in QBO, see this link: Automatically track mileage in QuickBooks Online.

Please feel free to get back to me here for any additional questions about mileage tracking. I always have your back.
