Where can I put in for a staff member receiving SMP

Hello thank you for contacting the Community

 

Can we just confirm which Payroll you are using? If you click on Employees on the left hand side does it say powered by Paysuite in the top left?

We do not use quickbooks payroll and have to process the journals manually. What is the double entry on the profit and loss and balance sheet (PAYE account) to ensure that they all balance. An example:

 

Employee is paid SMP of £651.30

SMP NI £52.10

 

What are the DR and CR entries.
