Some clients can't open their invoice

I have had a number of clients who have been unable to open their invoices. All they get is a dark grey page.

Hi there, cangarden.

 

We have a number of similar reported cases. Our engineers are already checking what's causing and resolve the issue when opening invoices. 

 

In the meantime, you can export the transactions as PDF. Then, email them as attachments outside of QuickBooks. Just click the drop-down list beside the invoice and click Export as PDF

 

We would also ask you to contact our Chat and Email Support team. Please look for Assistant in the upper-right hand corner of QuickBooks and click on it. They will need to ask for your contact details and add you to the list of affected users. We'll email you as soon as the issue is resolved.

I see this post was nearly a year ago. I’m having the same problem. My customers just get a message.

We have recently opened an investigation with the error your customer has experienced. Rest assured, our engineers will give an update through email. 

 

That being said, I'd recommend reaching out to our Phone Support agents so you'll be added as one of the affected users. I'll show you how:

 

  1. Click the Assistant button.
  2. Enter Talk to a human.
  3. Enter My client prompted with A problem repeatedly occurred error.
  4. Select I still need a human.
  5. Select either Message an agent or Get a callback.

 

 

If you want to let your customers pay their invoices online, you can add a Pay Now button.
