Stop unreviewed transactions immediately disappearing after clicking transaction type - QBSE Online

Every time I go to review unreviewed transactions and attach receipts, when it comes to click that it's a business transaction, sometimes I may want to change what kind of expense it is. However, it disappears almost immediately and I have to go ahead and find the transaction manually which is incredibly annoying.

I'd love it if there's a way to delay it enough so I can amend the type of expense before it disappears.

I can see how important it is to be able to use QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) capabilities with ease, and I appreciate that you are looking for ways to make it work, Mark.

It's important to note that QBSE is designed to automatically move transactions from the unreviewed page to the initially selected type. If you need to make changes, you should review the transactions directly in the Transactions tab.

I'll show you another way to help you streamline the process. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu.
  2. On the transactions page, select the Business or Personal tab to filter the results.
  3. Check the box on the left side of all transactions you want to reclassify.
  4. Then, select the Briefcase icon for the business type or the Human icon for the personal type.

Although the browser Assistant button for sending feedback is currently not operational, you can still share your valuable insights and suggestions with our product engineers via the QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile app.

Here's how to submit your feedback:

  1. Select Assistant in the upper right corner.
  2. Type in Feedback, then click Enter.
  3. Follow the prompts to submit feedback.

I've also added a reference to this link that explains what we can do with QuickBooks Self-Employed: QuickBooks Self-Employed Overview.

Furthermore, I encourage you to explore our Help articles page to discover useful tips and tricks for effectively managing your QuickBooks account.
