Hi all,

I'm finding the recent QuickBooks advanced search updates a bit frustrating, especially as there is no (clear) way to switch them off or make changes.

1. When I complete an advanced search, it defaults the custom date to March 2021-present. This isn't event the start of our financial year. Is there a way to return the date filter option to all or to at least change it so that is begins at the start of our financial year?

2. Is there a way to remove recent searches from the magnifying glass selection? I'd rather just see recent transaction alone as before.

Hello Able Child Africa, The advanced search history is not customisable. The custom date is not the financial year search(similar to the reports where there is a specific search for that)so it will not link in with that default. If you don't want to see the searches you could search for the transactions in the chart of accounts>account history instead and use the filter there or the cntrl and f to find.
