Hi there, cpjelectrics.

You'll want to make sure that file types selected and attached are saved as pdf, jpeg, jpg, gif, or png file. As it looks like a pdf file is what you are using. Can we ask you to try removing the file and attaching it again. That should resolve the issue.

Feel free to leave a reply below if you need anything else. I'll make sure to get back to you.

Hi there, cpjelectrics.

PDF is a supported type of file when sending receipts to QuickBooks Online. Can you tell us what happens every time you email a PDF copy of the receipt?

In the meantime, let's follow some steps to check if this is caused by a browser issue.

Start by using or switching to an incognito or private browsing session. Use these keyboard shortcuts to open one depending on the browser that you're using:

  • Ctrl Shift N  for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift P  for Firefox
  • Control Option +if you're using Safari

Once done, log back in and email the receipt or bill once again. Then, go back to the Receipts tab and check if you can already see them.
