Transfer from Quick books Desk top to quick books self employed

Hi I'm trying to transfer my quick books desk top file to quick books self employed, I have been using simple start 2013 so have down loaded the latest free trial.

I have opened the file in the latest desk top program and tried to export to online, it checks the file and says it's OK to transfer, I then log into the online account and it starts the transfer, I then get an email saying couldn't transfer the file, no reason just couldn't do it,

What am I doing wrong ?
