Transfer older QB Simplestart software onto newer machine

How can I transfer an older QB Simplestart software (on a Windows XP machine) to a newer (Windows 7) computer?   I do not have the original installation software, so will need a download for it.   The version I have  shows "Last license refresh in January 2007" which, sort of, dates it.  I have the details of the Product and Licence information available...  Help please ...

Can I please confirm the exact version of QuickBooks Desktop which you have?

"Help, "About" reveals little except QuickBooks SimpleStart, Intuit 2006 ...etc but I do have Install Key Code, Registration Number, and Serial Number if that would be more specific?

QB Simple Start (Desktop) is an old version that was phased out in 2010.  Probably not even a snowball's chance in a very hot place that you could find it and/or get it installed.  You need to upgrade them to a newer version, probably Pro (and I would advise against the Pro Plus version, which is a yearly subscription) and ask Intuit to upgrade your data file for you.
