Trying to connect a HSBC Bank (Hong Kong) - Personal Banking account. this has been connected to QBO recently, but no longer connectects. error message (105)

The account was connected to QBO in April 2022. We have been trying over several weeks to re-connect this account, we have even disconnected the feed but it will not allow me to reconnect it. the error message when we try is, Try connecting again in a few hours. (105) both my client and myself have tried to connect the account and we have tried to clear our Cache and cookies but we have not had any success. Is there a reason why this account would no longer be able to be connected to Quickbooks? Please advise on how we can reconnect the account to bank feeds if this is possible?

Hi lj8, thanks for posting - bank error 105 usually means there may be a problem from the bank's end, such as the website undergoing maintenance or server issues which stop the online bank connection to QuickBooks. Please check that the client can login to their banks website using the same credentials, and if successful, ask them to look for any messages, notifications, or alerts that may require actioning (such as an update to the T&C's). Additionally, if QuickBooks is still listed as active under their third party connections on their banks site, please have them remove this before re-adding the connection in QB. 👩‍💻
