Hi nickstilingwork What bank account are you attempting to connect and are you attempting to connect it via the app on your mobile device or a browser/computer?🤔

I'd like to share some information about connecting an account in QuickBooks, nickstilingwork.

If you're getting an authentication error, it's possible that you do not have the appropriate account privileges with your bank to share your information. You can check this article for more details: Understanding if you can connect your bank feeds to Open Banking.

To fix this issue, make sure to set up the appropriate Open Banking privileges on your bank account, or contact your Bank Service Desk for assistance.

In the meantime, you have the option to temporarily import your banking transactions using a CSV file. Here's an article for the steps: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooksNote: These transactions will be part of the automatic download once your account is connected to QuickBooks Online. If you see duplicate transactions, you can exclude them from the Banking page.

Please let me know if you need anything else. I'll be around to help you out again. Thanks.
