when will we be able to use the receipt forwarding function ?

The Receipt forwarding feature is currently available in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

Having this option in the regular version of QuickBooks Online (QBO) would be beneficial to your business. So I'll definitely pass your suggestion to the right team for review for consideration in the future updates.
