Who uses Quickbooks invoice templates…

Hi, new to quickbooks. I’m in a creative industry so quite keen to have my invoices looking nice. The Quickbooks invoice temples are ok with a bit of juggling around, but the uploaded logo is low resolution compared to the text and there are formatting limitations.

I’m tempted to continue sending my customers the excel invoices I’ve always done, but that means essentially doubling my work inputting it all into Quickbooks anyway.

As a show of hands, is this normal for people to do? I assume there is no workaround I am missing?

I appreciate you for getting back, @teamjim. I'm here to share with you some additional information about the QuickBooks Online (QBO) logo.

If you have tried the above. You can also try saving as a picture and opening the file in Windows Paint and then adjusting in Windows Paint resaving the file and then uploading the logo from the newly adjusted file.

We understand the importance of adjusting its resolution as text on the main invoice, if that does not change things, at this time, the logo will appear that way in QBO. For now, you can use the Feedback feature to send this idea directly to our engineering team. This way, they could take action to help improve your experience. Rest assured they're working nonstop to enhance the product and deliver the best experiences to all QuickBooks users.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.

Your valuable feedback goes to our Product Development Team to help improve your QuickBooks experience.

For more tips while enhancing your form styles and logo in QBO, you can review the resources from these articles:

You can also review the topics from here for additional reference while working with your invoices and other customer entries in the future: Topics about your company's income and customers.

Welcome to the Community space, @teamjim. I can share some info about using the invoice template in QuickBooks.

A well-designed and properly presented logo helps establish the company's brand and personality. In QuickBooks Online, let's ensure to follow the required logo format. This way, the resolution of the logo is high and not distorted.

Remember, the logo should be:

  • a .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg file
  • smaller than 10 MB
  • 24-bits or less in bit depth (or colour depth)
  • square-shaped, since rectangles don’t work
  • using the standard RGB colour space

In addition to that, to personalise and add specific info to your sales forms, you can utilize this article for more ideas. By doing this, you'll have an attractive, professional-looking invoice: Customise sales forms.

I'm also attaching these articles to guide you manage your invoices in QuickBooks:

My logo easily matches these specifications but the text still isn’t as sharp as the text on the main invoice
