Question

Why can't I see the Bank transactions page? The message comes up: 'We can't connect right nowTry refreshing. If that doesn't work, check back later.' But neither works.

I have been receiving the same message since yesterday. I have cleared cookies/cache, and tried multiple browsers. Has anyone found a solution that actually works?

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention regarding the error you’re encountering when accessing the Bank Transactions page in QuickBooks Online (QBO), admin355 and Darren. I understand how vital it is to have your bank transactions visible and up-to-date. Let's work together to troubleshoot this problem.

To begin, have you attempted to access QuickBooks using a different browser, admin355? If not, try accessing QuickBooks using an incognito or private browsing window. Sometimes, accumulated cache files can cause unexpected behavior. Here's the shortcuts to open an incognito window:

  • Safari: Shift + ⌘ + N
  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

If accessing QuickBooks through an incognito window resolves the issue, I recommend clearing your browser's cache to refresh the system. If the problem persists, I suggest switching to a different supported browser.

Since you mentioned that you have already tried multiple browsers, Darren, I recommend contacting our live support team for further investigation.

Moreover, connecting your bank to QuickBooks automatically downloads transactions and suggests categories based on your past categorizations. For further details, please refer to the article: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

I hope this information serves as a valuable starting point for addressing your concern. If you have further questions or need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to reply below. We're here to support you every step of the way.
