I can help you show the sub-income account as you add a product/service, susankillingback.

If seeing your sub-income account while creating a new product or service is unavailable, it may be due to an incorrect parent account designation or an unchecked checkbox during the initial setup of your Chart of Accounts. It's crucial to review the account settings to ensure that the checkbox for the account is checked and that a parent account has been properly assigned. This step is essential for accurate financial tracking and reporting within your accounting system.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then choose Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find the name of your account, then click the dropdown beside the View Register.
  3. Please check if the Is sub-account checkbox was selected and if a parent account was assigned.

If you're certain a checkmark in the Is sub-account checkbox and a parent account was assigned, it's best to use a private browser to rule out any browsing history or cached files causing the problem. Here are the shortcut keys for accessing private browsers:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If the issue persists, I recommend clearing your browser's cache and cookies. Also, you can use other supported web browsers to help identify if the concern is related to your current browser.
