Why is Quickbooks running slow

Since QBO is a web-based service, it also depends on the processing power of your device, the amount of available memory (RAM), and the bandwidth of your internet connection to function correctly. Any deficiency in any of these factors can reduce performance. You can check your internet speed by running a Google Speed Test to confirm the bandwidth or speed of your connection.

You can also check if your system meets the basic requirements to narrow down the reason for slow performance. You can use this link as your reference: System requirements for QuickBooks Online.

If QBO runs the same, I recommend contacting our Customer Support Team to add you to the list of affected users. They can notify you when a possible resolution is available.

1. Go to Help (?), then click Contact Us.
2. Please enter your question and select Let's talk.
3. Review and Select from the following: Ask the community, Have us call you, or Chat with us.
