Can I add a name to the Chart of Accounts?

Welcome to the Community, patty. Let me share some information about adding a name to the Chart of Accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

Are you referring to adding account names in the chart of accounts? If that's the case, QuickBooks allows you to do this when selecting Banks and entering them in the Account name field. I've included screenshots for your guidance.
