First month of financial year keeps reverting to July

Hi, I am trying to change the first month of my financial year in QB to January. (Account and Settings > Advanced > edit). Everytime I save it as January, it has reverted back to July the next time I look. Any ideas how I can keep it saved as January? Thanks 🙂

You may be experiencing some browser-related issues. Le's run some steps so you can save a new month of the fiscal year.

 

To start with, let's open QuickBooks on an incognito window to roll out any browser-related issues. You can use these keyboard shortcuts to open one:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge & Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Control + Option + P

 

If it works, you can go back to a regular browser and clear its cache. Piled cache can also be the reason for some unexpected issues on the opened pages. You can also use a different browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.
