Question

Has anyone experienced a problem with the Categorised button in Transactions? Nothing happens when I click on it. It used to work. If you have, what is the solution?

There isn't any reported product investigation with Categorise button is not working in Bank transactions tab. Let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps to isolate the behavior encountered in your QuickBooks Online account. Sometimes, browsers often store data that can disrupt the functioning of websites like QBO. 

 

To start with, use a new incognito window or a different supported browser. Using an incognito window does not store any data file.
 

Here's how:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Then, log in to QBO and categorise the bank transaction once more. If you we're able to categorise the transaction, kindly delete the cache in your browser to refresh your browser connection.
