How do I change which columns are displayed in Expenses?

I used to be able to hide the number and batch number fields in Expenses as I don't use them and I don't want to scroll across to view all the columns. Is there still a way to do this? I'm using QBO Simple Start.

Hi there, @JIT3

I know it would be beneficial to have an option to hide and customize the columns displayed on the Expenses tab. I'm here to share some details about this.

In QuickBooks Online, you can add other columns that are available in the options in the Expenses tab. However, the option to hide and rearrange the columns, specific columns, such as the No., and the Batch No. field is currently unavailable. With this, I recommend sending a feature request to our Product Development team. This way, they can be aware of your suggestions and consider them for future program updates.

Here's how to send feedback:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Feedback.
  2. Type in your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Select Next to submit.

Furthermore, you may consider using reports to view all your expenses and customize the information you want to see in them. I also encourage reading these articles to ensure that you'll get the most out of QBO's reporting capabilities:
