Question

I have connection to Great Southern Bank which has been working and since 19th of May it says it connects and updated but there aren't any new transactions added. Why?

Let's run some steps to isolate why the Great Southern Bank transactions don't sync.

 

QuickBooks Online downloads the latest available transactions every night around 10 PM PT. Some banks may take a little longer. When you’re not getting the latest data, let's do the manual update by following these steps:

 

  1. Go to the Transactions tab and select Banking.
  2. Click the Update button.

 

If the transactions are still not downloading, you may log into your bank's website to see if there's any notification or maintenance. If there's none, we can perform some steps to isolate the issue. To start with, sign in to QuickBooks Online using an incognito window. You can use these keyboard keys to open one:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Microsoft Edge & Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Control Option P

 

If there are new transactions, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache. Clearing the cache helps you refresh your browser settings.
