I have had my bank cease allowing QB online access to auto download transactions. I am having problems getting into my accounts to manually add transactions. Help?

Hello there, @dhandl. Welcome to the Community.

I'll gladly share some insight about adding bank transactions manually to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Before we start, may I know what's the name of the financial institution? It can help me check if we have a reported issue related to your concern and if there are any errors when adding transactions to QBO so that I can provide you with the best resolution.

For now, I can show you how we can add the transactions manually.

To do that, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Accounting menu, then select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find the bank or credit card account you want to upload more transactions into. Then select Account history.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the list. Write down the date of the oldest transaction.

Learn more about the whole process by visiting this article on how to manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

In situations where your online bank account doesn't download transactions, you have the option to upload them manually. Open this article for the steps on how: Import bank transactions using Excel CSV files.

Feel free to reply to this thread, in case you have additional queries and I'll get back to you.
