Question

Invoices sent from the mobile app are missing payment details

Other than putting bank transfer details in manually on the quickbooks app - I can't seem to get them saved on the template by default. When sent from the website, all the details I have entered on the template are fine. Is there a way to get the app to send the same template as I have on QB online?

Hi kempton.david,

Thanks for posting in the Community!

At the moment we're unable to set a default invoice template when using the mobile app. Once you set the payment details in your default invoice template from the web browser, that invoice template will be used when you create invoices using the QuickBooks Online mobile app.

Let's check your default invoice template using a web browser to isolate the situation encountered. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear or Settings icon.
  2. Click on Custom form styles.
  3. Click on the invoice Default template.
  4. Click on the Design tab, and click on Add your EFT details.
  5. Check if that template has the payment details.
  6. Click also Dive in with a template and see if what is used and verify if the payment details shows up on the preview to the right.
  7. Click on Done.

If the issue is the same, I recommend to uninstall and re-install the mobile app to isolate the behavior encountered.
